I own ALOT of Movies but Why? I go to ALOT of movies but Why? I watch ALOT of movies but Why? A movie a day for one year. that is my first 365 blog challenge. I am putting all my movies in a box and pulling them at random, including the ones owned by the wife.

111. The Other Guys

             The Other Guys suffers from what I like to call a case of the Previewitis. What is Previewitis? It is when you see a preview of a movie and think that is going to be one amazing movie only to see that movie and realize that you fell for a really well done trailer.
             The Other Guys is a movie starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in a buddy cop movie. Except for this time Ferrell plays the straight man and Mark Wahlberg plays the crazy  out of control guy. You know I kept waiting for this movie to get really good. It never quite gels and takes off like one would hope or expected. There are some real funny parts. I actually enjoyed a more low key Ferrell and Michael Keaton was great as their boss.
             But The Other Guys ultimately lets down. Its like when you are really craving pizza and you have one delivered but when it arrives its kind of not put together well and lukewarm. That is what this was like. Really excited then just disappointing. But hey Im not expert. Im just some guy watching movies. I think it would have been funnier with SNL's Andy Samberg played Mark Wahlberg is this movie. Say hi to your mother for me!

Final Verdict: Not worth owning.

    I thought it was awesomely hilarious. Jeter. I laughed through the whole thing. Some great subtle humor and on-going gags.

    I did not like this movie. The only thing they did was yell all movie and give me a headache.

    this is an okay movie...not great, not too bad. I thought is was funny about the 2 super cops from the beginning of the movie...Samuel L Jackson and the Rock...and a few running gags thru out the film made me giggle. So, overall. not too bad, but not great either. good to watch ...if nothing better is on, but not worth owning.
