Anytime that a pro wrestle who has reachs a certain level of fame in the WWE one thing happens. They decide that means that they are entitled to may things. Including it seems that they can star in movies. Following in the footsteps of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and The Rock comes John Cena. Yes, the YOU CAN’T SEE ME, John Cena.
u cant see me |
Cena’s latest venture from WWE films is Legendary. Taking a break from the action star John Cena we get the deep, emotional, loving John Cena. Now don’t get wrong he is still hard core and a troubled man. But in this movie he comes to grips with his demons and helps his little brother by teaching how to wrestle. Not WWE but real wrestling
Cena is decent but you never forget he is John Cena. Unlike The Rock, who has made the jump into Dwayne Johnson, Cena hasn’t learned yet to totally dive into the role and disappear. The supporting cast is good this time, Danny Glover makes appearances and is solid as always. I guess the movie is fine for the direct to DVD fare but not to be seen in Theatres. Final Verdict: Not worth owning
Once again, I disagree. I would own this...if it wasn't for Netflix. I really liked this flick, and I don't have a clue who Cena is. The quirky girlfriend AND a mysterious fishing Danny Glover? C'mon! It's a classic update of 100's of 80's teen movies. At least watch it.
ReplyDeleteThis was a good movie. May I suggest faster with the rock? Another good movie and I dont watch the WWE"
ReplyDeleteSorry, I just have not seen this movie, but look like a movie made as a vehicle for Cena and really is not what I want to watch. I am not a WWF fan, at all.
ReplyDeleteI don't really care for these types. Havent seen it but I might just have to! lol
ReplyDeleteI thought that it was good. Cena needs some work but overall he did well.
ReplyDeleteI saw this over the weekend and I really enjoyed it. I'm the farest thing from a John Cena fan but I liked this movie. I also liked Danny Glover in this movie, that guy rules.
