88. Napoleon Dynamite

I have never, in the history of watching movies, have seen a more polarizing move than Napoleon Dynamite. No movie holds true to the saying "You either love it or hate it" Its true. People are not the fence about this movie. So if you are wondering, lets end the suspense. I LOVE Napoleon Dynamite. Hands down one of the funniest movies I have ever seen in my entire life.
Napoleon Dynamite follows the life and story of awkward teen in a small town in Idaho. His adventures involve a pet llama, sweet dance moves, cage fighting brothers and a Uncle Rico. Napoleon is joined in his adventures by Pedro (played by the scene stealing Efren Ramirez) and Deb played by Tina Majorino from Andre. Pedro is the new kid or something that moves to the town and wants to make an impact. His impact consists of killer bike that make sweet jumps, building cakes and running for school president. Vote for Pedro and all your wildest dreams will come true. Deb is the love interest that captures both Pedro and Napoleons eye!
Dont get me wrong. People hate this movie. I have heard people say things like "Worst movie ever made" and "Can't believe anyone could watch this:" I dont know what is wrong with those people. This movie is so amazing. I swear! I hadnt watched in over year and had a blast laughing at all the great parts again. So you know what I am going to say when it comes to the Final Verdict: Worth Owning.

  1. Well, this is the only movie i've ever watched that has put me to sleep. So I feel like I have to comment. I liked it when I watched it again. Parts of it are really funny, and it is totally original and unique. And it speaks to that basic part of our character that wants to leave our mark on society. So yeah. It's pretty cool. It is definitely not the worst movie ever made, but it is an acquired taste. ya'll watch it if you haven't yet.

  3. Ugg, I hate this movie! Mike and Grace, on the other hand, love it (go figure, you and Mike have the exact same sense of humor, and now he's passed it down to our kids). Grace does a dead on Napoleon "Whatever I feel like I wanna do. Gosh!"
