Man I have been on a sequel kick lately! Joining the fun is Ghostbusters 2. The sequel to the mega hit classic film starring Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Siqourney Weaver. This time the whole world is at stake!
When the story picks up here in GB2 it is five years later. One would think that since the Busters in the first film saved New York City that they would be heroes and the city in the palm of their hands! But NO! In fact the Busters are not doing good at all. Some of them have moved onto being a supernatural TV personality and the rest are holding on to their glory by doing children’s birthday parties. Who you gonna call?
But then the ghosts come back! Some guy named Vigo has come back and has taken all the hate that is in the city and turned it into his own slimy world take over. And when I say slime I mean it Literally. There is a river of slime brewing under NYC and the Ghostbusters are the only ones that can save the city again. As far as sequels go it is good, solid and funny. They take the best of the original and bring in more fun stuff. One being Slimer who becomes his own star thanks to the GB cartoon.
Final Verdict: Worth owning!
I think that I have seen this movie but I really can't remember.
