Ok. I know that maybe every single person that reads this will have never heard of Flight of the Dragons. In fact until 2 years ago I have never heard of FOTD. FOTD is what all the cool, inside fans call it. But FOTD is an animated film from 1982 starring the voices of John Ritter and James Earl Jones. Yes, the voice of Darth Vader as a wizard.
FOTD is actually really hard to follow and I can’t imagine how children keep it all straight. But from what I can gather it is about a guy named Peter who writes a book about dragons. The book is all about how magic is being erased from the world because people are believing science more than magic. And that the 5 great wizard brother s must conquer evil in order to solve this. Little does Peter know that his book is a true! Therefore he is sucked into the magic world and helps save it from science. The movie is hard to follow, the plot is confusing, the one thing is funny is the performance by Earl Jones as the evil wizard. Final Verdict: Good luck even finding a copy of it. If you do find a copy, don’t buy it.
One of my all time favorite childhood movies...which really makes me wonder why my mom hates HP so much.
