78. The Next Three Days

                 NTD is about a husband who has a mission. His mission is to clear his wife’s name of murder and reunite his family together. But to me it is really a story of two movies. Let me explain:

                  The first half of the movie is enjoyable but kind of moves at a slow pace. To me it came across like they had a great story but had to drag out the first part of that story long so it actually is the length of the movie. The first half deals with the mothers’ conviction and the fathers fight to get her out. When it is finally concluded that the only way she is ever getting out is by escape the next quarter of the movie is spent with Crowe planning the escape. THEN…..

                The movie takes off like a rocket and doesn’t slow down for anything. But I guess if you were going to make one part of the movie slow and one part fast and entertaining the second half is the best.  But when Crowe breaks the mother out and go the run. It is very entertaining and crazy good. Well worth watching. 

Final Verdict: I will watch it again sometime but may not own.
