Here is what my take on Attack of the Clones has always been. If you could take out Hayden Christensen you have one amazing movie. Seriously this guy cannot act and since its so bad it brings down what in other words is a solid movie.
Clones picks up where Phantom Menace left off just 10 years later. It serves as an origin story on dual levels. It gives us the origin of Padme' and Anakin's love. The origin of Boba Fett and the origin of how the Stormtroopers came to be. More importantly it is the beginning of a war. THE war that leads up to everything we already know and love about the first three episodes.
Ewan McGregor IS the best thing to ever come out of the Star Wars prequels. His performance as Obiwan is the best thing and acting of probably ALL 6 Star Wars and in here he takes the lead and shines. But of course "That's why Im here." I can't write this blog without mentioning one of the best Star Wars moments, if not one the best moments in movie history. The moment where we finally see Master Yoda drop the walking stick and pick up a light saber. That 2 minutes is almost worth the entire prequels being made.
Final Verdict: Solid movie. Worth Owning.

91. Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back
Like I said when I blogged about A New Hope what else can I say about this movie? Empire is the sequel to one of the greatest movies of all time. In fact most people not only consider this the best sequel ever but they consider it the best of the Star Wars movies.
While I don’t think it’s the best of the Star Wars movies, that is reserved for Phantom Menace. I’m kidding, Return of the Jedi is the best. Empire Strikes Back does what all sequels should strive to do. Better script, better special effects, more fleshed out characters, and a huge twist. And in this case one of the biggest twists ever-- VADER is a daddy? What?!

Final Verdict: Worth Owning.

71. Star Wars IV: A New Hope
What else can be said about one of the greatest movies all time? What else can be said about the pure genius that is Star Wars. George Lucas created a masterpiece that has stood the test of time and will always be one of the greatest cinematic creations of all time.
The characters of Luke, Leia, Han, & Chewy! The best villain of any movie EVER! Even the lame changes and bonus scenes Lucas has now tainted the classic with doesn’t take away from the same movie that captivated me as a child. It still captivates me now!

That's not a moon. That's a space station. |
It was a thrill to take an afternoon to watch this movie. Nothing even comes close to this movie and probably never will. Throw in the fact that there are 6 of these movies it is just so great! After the Magical Movie Box made me watch Sleeping Beauty the day before it was so nice to reward that sacrifice with Star Wars. A movie that transplants all of us to a galaxy far far away every time.
Final Verdict: Duh! Winning! Own it!
Other Tidbits:
If this is a counselor's ship where is the ambassador?
I also have to mention John Williams with one of the best scores ever. It makes the movie. Star Wars would not be Star Wars without the genius of John Williams
