Talk about the ultimate Love or Hate movie--you either “get it” or you don’t. I happen to be on the “Get it” side of this fence. Therefore I consider Dumb and Dumber not only one of the funniest movies ever but I also consider it pure genius. Did I say genius? Yes, I did.
Too many great things to say about this movie. Too many great scenes to single out in this movie. Too many great one liners to talk about. SO so so so funny. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels start as two dim-witted “dummies” Harry and Lloyd. Two losers whose dream to own their own pet store (I got worms) but take a trip to Aspen when Lloyd “falls in love” with a passenger he drove to the airport.
But let me get one thing clear. If you do not like slapstick or bathroom humor you will not enjoy this movie. I know for some people Jim Carrey is hit or miss and he is firing on all cylinders in this movie. My wife, doesn’t think she could stand this movie although she has never watched it. But if you have multiple funny bones in your body then this movie is for you. Final Verdict: Worth it……Big Gulps eh? Well, see ya later!”
