152. Captain America: The First Avenger

In the midst of World War II, America needs a champion. Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) has done everything that he can to enlist but his short stature and weak body have caused him to be rejected no matter how many aliases he has tried. During his last attempt to get into the Armed Forces under an alias he is noticed by scientist, Dr. Erskine (Stanley Tucci) who recruits him to be part of Project Rebirth. Although he doesn't really know what Project Rebirth is exactly he agrees because it will finally put him into the Army fighting for the country he loves. After training and a series of tests conducted by Colonel Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones), Rogers is chosen because of his extraordinary courage, wits, and conscience to be the final candidate for this experiment to create the perfect solidier--thus Captain America is born!

The movie is full of awesome fight scenes and special effects. It was action packed and the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) makes for a great villian. I think that this movie does comic heros proud and I can't wait for more Avengers movies to come!

Final Verdict: Worth Owning!

98. PUSH

Push is a really bad wannabe XMEN movie. I did not enjoy it all. It dragged a lot and actually quite confusing at times. It jumps all over the place and introduces a lot of different characters. It is, if I am being honest, a movie that would be better served as a TV series. That way you can take your time.
Some people in the world have special powers. They can move things, see the future, convince to do things they don’t want to and scream really loud. That is all what the people in Push have. There is also a all powerful society called Division that is trying to take these people and make them into a Super Human Fighting Militia. Like I said the plot gets confusing, the cute little nicknames that they give the powers are lame and it just drags in spots.  The soundtrack is very good though and Dakota Fanning who stars as one of the people with special powers was really good in it.

 Final Verdict: NO.

60. The Losers

The Losers is kind of like a junior varsity A-team.  The movie is about a group of military men who are double crossed and believed to be dead. Only they aren’t dead. They are very much alive and ready to come after the evil man, MAX, who double crossed and tried to kill them.
I never would have even thought to really watch this movie if I hadn’t read a review about it saying that it was very surprisingly well acted and looks great on blu ray. So the Netflix people sent it over and what are my thoughts? The Losers is surprisingly well acted and looks great on blu ray. Also it's very funny.
The movie stars Jeffery Dean Morgan (Grey’s Anatomy), Zoe Saldana (Star Trek) and Chris Evans of Fantastic Four fame. The whole crew covers the gambit of characters. The fearless leader, the quiet assassin and the funny tech guy. But I do want to point out the evil mastermind MAX played by Jason Patric. MAX was quirky and great humor to the movie and to this role. So if you are looking for a great fun movie to watch one night check The Losers. Hey Patric was in Speed 2. It's better than that.

Final Verdict: Could own it on blu ray if I found it cheap.

13. The Perfect Score

The advertisement read “Breakfast Club meets Ocean’s Eleven.”
The Perfect Score is a simple movie.  6 high schoolers band together to steal the answers to the SAT . All have their various reasons: from getting into their choice college, to trying to impress their parents or (my favorite) “it sounds like fun”.  Despite the absurd plot the movie is fun.  It stars Chris Evans (pre-Fantastic Four) and Scarlett Johansson (pre-being Scarlett Johansson) as the leaders of the group.
Ocean’s Eleven it is not. But it does has its moments of action and suspense. And it does have a lot of humor. You can call it Oceans Lite if you will.  Leonardo Nam plays the token “Stoner guy” and what could have just been a normal part actually ends up stealing most of the movie with this character. He has the best one liners and makes the most of his screen time.  FYI former NBA lottery pick Darious Miles plays Desmond the high school superstar who needs a 900 to get into St. Johns. He made the wise choice to stick with sports. Acting is not his strong point.
Leonardo Nam aka Roy

Final Verdict: Not as funny as I remembered.  Not worth owning.

Quick Tidbits:
-Matthew Lillard (shaggy of Scooby Doo) plays a minor role as the older, wiser brother.  What happened to that guy?
-Director is Brian Robbins the creator of All That! and Good Burger
